lower front strut bar

how important is this? since I installed my DC Sport dp with cat delete I cannot reuse and if I try to use spacers the bar is too low to the ground, btw car has Tein S-Tech's installed.

It helps to tie the chassis up a little. I'm using an RMR replacement brace that takes the place of both of those bars and clears my 3" downpipe:

From what I gather, if you do drag racing, you DO NOT need to keep this item. But, for road courses and autox, those type of cornering activities that do push the car to its limits, it would be a good thing to keep.

I am pretty sure I will be pulling mine off of the car this weekend, and leaving it off for now.

Why not just add some Washers between the bar and the chassis.

If I don't "need" it, its only extra weight for me.

thats what i did. I used the helix 3 inch dp and just threw on some washers and i had some great clearance. I'm on swift/billstein set up for my evo 8 gsr.

I just ran over to my local hardware store and bought 10 washers total. 2x for each bolt and that was more than enough clearance.

I may look into an aftermarket replacement unit.
