I wish I had better news...
OK guys, here is the scoop. I have been plagued with ridiculous issues. First the clutch line split on the way home. I fixed the stock line in case the replacement didn't show, but AMS sent me a nice braided line overnight. I installed the line and the car felt fine. We loaded it up and headed to the track. First burn out felt awesome and as soon as I left the line the clutch slipped the whole pass. It was wonderful to spend thousands of dollars to run a 12.0@114 again. I have no idea why this clutch failed. My last evo went consistent 1.5 60's/ 11.50's on the Exedy Twin and that evo was full weight. I will recommend for everyone to buy the lower braided clutch line($26) from AMS as a precaution. My line failed and it is probably what caused this string of events. I'm at a point where I just don't know what I want to do. I may just send the car to Buschur's for a complete engine/head build and HTA 35R. This car has 40k miles on it and I just keep picking away at things and there always seems there is something else to fix or change. I would just like to go the track and have some fun for once. Sorry guys, but I seem to be at a stand still for the time being. I have to make a decision whether to just fix the current issue or just go big and finish the car completely the way I want it to be eventually anyways.

I would put a clutch in it and go back after the 10's 1st.. to go from 11.2 to 10.99 isnt going to take much.. if a slipping clutch has deterred you then you have no idea what your getting into to run 9's.. keep that in mind.. let me know what you decide..

. Cwill can install it when he gets back. Then I will talk with DB for a full build.
thats my point, the downtime to get a clutch back in the car compared to rebuilding the motor, AEM , fuel system, turbo kit , is going to be a big difference..

Get everything done the way you want, and be proud of your completed project.
But then again, going for 10s on stock turbo is also very cool in its own right,
even though you know you could easily run it, its not the same as doing it.
Is the clutch the only thing in the way now? If so, why not just upgrade it to handle the power of your ultimate goal, and run your 10s, then upgrade the rest of the car?
Brian, as you know, been there, done that. The main goal is to make yourself happy. Do what YOU want to do. If you truly want to see 10's on the stock turbo, fix the clutch, run the 10's, then go big. You'll never regret reaching a personal goal. You will regret never reaching a personal goal. Most of all, do what's in your heart for yourself. Everyone else will support you regardless. Just remember you signin name.
Good luck with WHATEVER you do. Afterall, it's your goal, not ours.

I want to see a 10second pass posted.
