I think you have nothing to prove. Your mid 11s like 2 years ago proves that. If your goal is to go big, I think you should just do it now, and save some money =]
Get everything done the way you want, and be proud of your completed project.
But then again, going for 10s on stock turbo is also very cool in its own right,
even though you know you could easily run it, its not the same as doing it.
Is the clutch the only thing in the way now? If so, why not just upgrade it to handle the power of your ultimate goal, and run your 10s, then upgrade the rest of the car?

9sec9- Thanks, I just hate being sidetracked. I'm pretty much set on a DB build. The wife has OK'ed it
When it returns I'll know it will be ready to race without worries and I can just skip the 10 sec bracket-LOL. I just have to decide if I want to waste any more time on this stock turbo deal. I'll end up repairing the clutch to tidy up my goal I set, mostly because I can't stand to lose. Then she will spend a few weeks in Ohio and come back a race car.
We're right there too. OKIX popped the clip on the Exedy Twin HD. We've been on the edge of breaking into the low 10s since January. Little things have put us on hold TWICE. The tranny is being pulled right now and being fixed. If I could find a Tilton Carbon/Carbon, I'd buy it right now and save the trouble later. Backordered everywhere. Don't let the little things take your mind off of your goal. You can have both. Current goal and future goal. Just keep your eyes on the prize. Do it.
Clutch pedal hit the floor. I had to physically pull it up and even then it wasn't free to move. Then it wouldn't go down at all. The car wouldn't start because you couldnt operate the clutch, but the crank was 'free'. Tony said engine ran fine when he shut it off. We'll know probably by tomorrow if that is in fact what happened, but all conversatiions with others say that's what happened.
