The baddest EVO 9 pump gas we've built.
Suhweet
. It's going to suck missing all the fun when I leave for Belgium. So you got the car, why don't you come down tomorrow, maybe SlowRice can come up from Cinci and we can meet in the middle. Let me know
.

Sick is an understatement. I don't know what I got Jeff, I am just glad we got your car done. It was a hell of a day for me. I knew I was sick this morning when I got up but by 4 pm, I was done. I hit the floor twice going in/out of the bathroom.
Renee came to get me (my wife) as I thought I was going to the hospital. I pulled in the driveway, holding onto the hood of the truck and trying to keep from crappy my pants I heard something beautiful. It was the horse power angels singing to me! You must have gotten on it in two gears on route 60 on your way home because I could hear it from my house. That is simply retarded because it has to be close to a mile or more in a straight line from here to Rt 60. Sounded VERY good.
Congrats on having the highest HP EVO9 we've done. That engine is SO freaking smooth. The turbo is for sure impressive up top, the way it pulled on pump gas to the 9,000 rpm rev limiter was freaking crazy.
Details. The boost hit 42 psi on the posted dyno graph, which was the last one we did. The power difference from 39-42 psi was no significant, so I stopped turning it up. We were running VP race fuel. AFR's under boost were 11.3 going all the way down to 11.1:1.
The car is fast for sure.
Glad to hear you got home OK and it ran great Jeff. THANK YOU for allowing us to build it for you. Sorry I was down and out, I really wanted to go from drinks and beers. When you come back for the programs and such we will go out.
Jarrod, thanks for getting the chart up for me. I appreciate all the work you and Nick do at the shop, even if I don't tell you guys nearly enough.

Building parts for people who turn left and don't plan very well. Jeff, you have ruined my day, BIG numbers lots of fun and AEM school all in one day. I got very little sleep, phone calls "the plane is waiting when can we have our parts" I get them done overnight and you would think there would be a thank you at least. I'll get mine when I send them the bill (overnight panic charge). I think it should equal one of David's Ti rod shortblocks what do you think? I wish I would have been there buddy. I'm glad all went well. Indy
Thanks for the props man... Dave dont know this but I seen the intake manifold
... FREAKIN SICK! Nice work!FYI man, Buschurs is ALWAY more important than work. Look at me, I didnt even call in today, I said fock it and just didnt show up
Tell me what you really think, thats just the dyno mule. Davids going to give it a run Monday I think. Wow when I grow up I want your HP numbers
You saw my stuff on JRod's desk was it orange from the cheese ***** yet?

I see you are feeling better... did you see boobies?
cause they will cure anything
When you heard me a 60, I was checking the boost after I turned it down and put the pump gas tune back in, I was going into Clarksfeild. That is like 4 miles from Wakeman
I was laughing my ***** off taking home Brad after I dropped off the Talon at my house when we hit 120 in a 45. All I did was merge in with traffic
This damn thing you built feels like my R1 did, which is what I was going for, Thank You Buschur Racing!!!Once again the car drove, started, and pulls perfect. When I got home I checked the oil level and I didnt leak or use 1 drop of oil.
Next up guys I wanna get a super light weight brake kit for the car. After that I will be looking for some bigger cams, maybe those FP 5R cams. I will have Dan install those and have Dave lean out the A/F's into the 12.0 range with the import and if Dave is cool with it.... crack 700whp!?
Video I should have up sometime sunday. I wanna get some footage with the BR camcorder mount.
jcevo01, yes, I missed your question. The question was how long does an engine last running 600 whp and 9,000 rpm. I cannot answer that.
There are not enough of them out there running around yet. Peter's car is probably the closest to that and he had 9,000+ on it when he sold it.
I think most cars built like that end up being used for fun, racing, weekends than anything else. The mileage takes a long time to add up when you use it only for "fun".
My RS for example has just over 9,000 miles it. I don't drive it in the snow, so it sits from October until around April. I don't drive it when it's nasty and raining out either.
The car had HUNDREDS of dyno pulls on the engine I just swapped out of it. It also had all 9 and 10 second passes on it. Running as fast 9.65 at 151 mph.
That is the best I can answer your question. The amount of maintainence you do on the car is very important.
Today VWJeff and I were talking about his car. He is going to use it for racing (legal and illegal) and weekends only. Because of that the time frame for it to reach, 3,000 miles for example is going to be fairly long. In this case, I suggested oil changes at around 1500 miles.

Jarrod likes orange ***** in his mouth and in his hands
Watch out for him, he can get weird on ya really fast
You should use the camcorder to try and zoom in on that tach!
Very glad, again to hear the trip home went smooth. Fuel mileage should be pretty good too, did you pay any attention at all?haha, probably not.
We'll talk on the brakes when you are ready. The cams, anytime, retune, anytime.
Enjoy the car, I enjoyed tuning it.

If that sounds anything like Pete's did that is insane. When he called me he was doing the testing on the launch controller, I thought it was a joke. The thing sounded like a bike, flat out nasty. Have fun with that and mabey one day I will get there.

Now that I think about it... WTF does it feel like on the race gas tune, I forgot to drive it at 40psi
I can wait till I bring back up with my computer, this new found power is just stupid.Fuel mileage was WAY better than the Talon... A/F's were right where you said they should be. I watched everything I could. 130 mile trip I used just a hair over a 1/4 of a tank
Brakes and retune, sounds like a plan
