The baddest EVO 9 pump gas we've built.
Mine is a peice of sh*t slow terd.... you might have to build mine like yours LOL.
I was so DA*N excited when you said you bought that car
That is the sweetest 1g I have ever seen. I looked at that car more last year at the shoot-out than any other car!
I HATE you sometimes

Don't they have Tomei 280's for Evo 9? I know DB already said this...that he won't be making cams for Evo 9. Have you thought about it again Dave? I bet you would be rocking BF272 if they have it for Evo 9's.
Next up guys I wanna get a super light weight brake kit for the car. After that I will be looking for some bigger cams, maybe those FP 5R cams. I will have Dan install those and have Dave lean out the A/F's into the 12.0 range with the import and if Dave is cool with it.... crack 700whp!?.
From post#119, Jrod Look what I found to replace that worn out mouse pad...this one has a place to rest you wrist
FYI The car in the background was last years project. I will send the pad Monday with the muffler. Thanks for everything and I better not find my new turbo, manifold or O2 stuffed with cheese ***** or no Indy brick for you
Indy... BTY I like your how to deal with problem people info sheet on the clip board...I just ignore them.

Isn't 9sec9's "Pandamonium" Evo IX still a few HP higher (649HP)? It would be interesting to see the graphs overlayed of those two cars, since one is a 37R and the other is a 37HTA, with pretty similar builds...

DB,
Do you know why on Sumans Car(That Dynoflash tested) the DI mani didn't perform well? What exactly was wrong or missing on his set up and what can be added to perform better?

Just to fill in the blanks on this project,
We made 680 something whp with just over 40 psi of boost with the stock intake and T/B on this turbo / manifold combo
We added the DI manifold and large T/B to the car and retuned
The car lost significant spool up and also dropped 12 whp corrected for temp change
The thinking is that the turbo combination was not matched well to the DI intake and T/B change as it was previously about maxed out for the turbo / back housing combination and apparently did not have any more to fill the void of the larger volume intake
Of course this is all speculation

HAHAHA whatever man, if you would have been at BR on friday... the keys could have been yours
Besides man, I dont think I need to take out any weight to bet him
Brian I have the 272's. Smaller than the 1's you have. I am looking at the AMS Wilwood brakes.
