Vishnu Dumpback..

The Vishnu website list a stage one kit now which includes the XEDE, plug and play harness, adjustable cam gears and Signature "Dumpback" exhaust. What is a dumpback exhaust? Thanks in advance.

Hi Limey,

Is that what was referred to a week ago as a "turboback"?. Does it include the downpipe back?

ooops... I'm sorry speedlimit...just noticed what you are on about...dunno what that is unless he has a newly designed sig series downpipe...I am sure his web site will be tweaked more in a day or so.....there does not seem to be pricing on the cam gears either...I guess I will mail him

Hey Limey,

Damn,

I just changed my order from a Sig series to a standard series turbo back because of that o2 housing(dumpback).

Now their offering the sig. series with the complete turbo back?Including o2 housing?

I could have sworn Brett (@ vishnu perfromance) said this was'nt gonna be available for a long while. I better go check their site. I may have to change my order once again. Hope they didn't ship my stuff out yet.

OK, I just checked the site.

The Sig. series in IS the "dumpback" exhaust. Meaning from the 02 sensor housing back.

The standard series exhaust replaces that housing attaching to the bottom of the turbo itself. Making it a true turbo back exhaust.

What's the difference between the Vishnu Sig exhaust in stage 0 and stage 1? notice how they didn't include the term "dumpback" in the stage 0? what would i need to upgrade to stage 1 exhaust wise from stage 0?

Thanks!

SzuChenEvo, unless I'm mistaken, the stage 1 "dumpback" exhaust is the signature series cat-back + down pipe. The stage 0 is the signature series cat-back only.

Ok, I need to get your terminology correct. I see that everyone is calling the Turbo back from the turbo elbow and back... and the turbo elbow is called the O2 housing? Im going to have to get used to this.
