Smoke on startup

Compression is great. I checked the resistance of the coils, wires, injectors. Tried the 13 and 15 roms. put in new plugs. Threw a butt load of injector cleaner in it. lol.
Nothing has helped. Knowing that there is a TSB is great, but the stealership is a last resort.

valve = yes
valve seal = no
At least in my situation, a valve seal would not cause my codes. For the codes to be triggered the car has to be up to temp and my car has no smoking issues at all once the car has been running for 30 seconds or so. For the car to misfire due to a valve seal there would have to be a good amount of oil going past one of the intake valves. Enough oil that you would see smoke whenever the car is misfiring.

Valve seals sounds right, but then not. You'd have smoke on initial startup. And why the CEL??? Just for the h*ll of it, Swap your coil packs, reset your light, then put a few miles on it, and see if your misfire has moved to the other cylinder. If it hasnt, youve completely ruled out the coilpacks. Keep us posted

I have the same problem except mine lasts for a few minutes while I drive. I am thinking that oil is getting past the rings. I have rapped it out a few times till its hits the rev limiter which I know is not good. so that why I think the rings are betting bad.
After about 5 mins of driving it goes away. When I hammer on it, downshift sometimes I can see some smoke.

I did as the service manual said and checked the resistence on the injectors. (service manual says between 2-3 Ohms. Mine are all 2.6 or 2.7) Common sense says that only means that the little electromagnet is working and wont tell you if they are clogged. Could an injector clog at 15K miles though?
