Ralliart LICP question
Ralliart LICP question
Just installed my Ralliart intercooler piping. With the upper installed, my car felt very good sop testing. With the lower installed, the cars feels like it lost some lower end torque. This kit is on a stock motor and turbo. I did replace the factory licp nozzle with the larger ralliart nozzle that came with the kit and I used a new gasket to get a good seal at the turbo. I already checked for vacuum leaks with soapy water with no problems found. Would the piping be too large for a stock turbo?
The LICP comes with a new turbo nozzle that is bigger than the OEM. The pipe and coupling are both straight with no reducer. I'm thinking it could be designed for a bigger turbo setup.

I really like the licp set-up of the ralli-art. Mostly due to them providing a very nice discharge pipe that comes with a provision to add a bung.
Now is that picture provided for the evo 8 or 9 turbo?
any chance of you measuring the dicharge pipe i.d. where it mounts to the turbo before the install?

I have it installed on a 8. The piping follows the stock path very well and the part should fit the 9. The J-Pipe turbo side id is same size as the factory gasket. The pipe is made out of thicker aluminum with some room for porting if needed compared to the stock metal tube pipe.
