Yeah, mine was clipped. It's probably the turbo equivalent to a highly addictive drug haha. The only thing I've ever driven that can make a stock evo turbo feel laggy I've got 20k miles on mine and could probably never go back

I'm just loving that this thing is finally spreading like we all knew it would

the turbo spools so quick as it is (even with the full version) I dont see a need to make it spool any quicker hee he

well, we did another EVO IX today..

mods on stock turbo were as follows:

JAM stage 1 head, Cossie M2's, turboback, catless, avcr, blitz intake

Now with BBK we added a CBRD fmic, 780 injectors, LICP, and perrin intake..

well...

we saw gains of almost 80whp and 40wtq at 1.8 more psi.

here is the bbk chart... over 330whp for 2500rpm..

hope you enjoy... 2whp shy of the 400 mark with stock UICP, stock Tbody, and Stock intake manifold.

ill do the overlay later...

want to see something fun, here is the BBK overlayed with a car with similar mods with an HTA 30R

cheers

That is right where I want to be. I am going to be happy with 350/350. You will be getting my order in about 6 months for sure!

Did you mean HTA 30R? Or was the dyno description incorrect? Either way, looks great!

This most recent graph is my car. I just got back home from picking the car up and it is awesome. The spool and power delivery are just like with the stock turbo as far as speed, but then it just keeps going.

It doesn't slam you back in your seat like some bigger turbos, but it hits hard and very fast. It is kind of a deceptive power delivery. It plants you back and then proceeds to rip through the rest of whatever gear you are in very quickly. Before you know it you are at redline about to hit the rev limiter. A good description was that it is kind of like a V8. The power comes on down low and then just continues to push you all the way up.

The response between shifts is incredible as well. You hit redline in no time and when you shift, it is like the power turns off for a split second and then is right back on.

This turbo is exactly what I was looking for, stock like response with the ability to get 400 plus on the CBRD dyno. I couldn't be happier with the turbo and the way the car is running.

For anyone looking to get around 400 hp this is the only choice in my opinion. To have that kind of power with stock spool really is just awesome and way too much fun. Thanks to Chad and everyone at CBRD and anyone who was a part of developing this great turbo. CBRD and BBK FTW!!!

You should have mine, but its on 100 oct(sunoco GT260). Hell the head has never even been off my car yet. I hope to build my engine this year to take advantage of the set up.

I find the BBK to be a great turbo. Torque is where its at in a DD. Wish I would have gotten a ride in Charlies car but he was far to busy conversating with everyone. I think my freind Mike is getting one when funds allow.

yeah your car is impressive, ive been trying to do "like" boost overlays, seeing as you were at 30-31 psi and on 100 i didnt see it as an appropriate comparison.

i did like overlaying ur 481whp pull with my 499whp pull (albeit 97 degrees and on pump gas)... very impressive what you have done urself..

Is that overlay in a thread or something you have just looked at yourself on your dyno? Id love to see the overlay! I think the 100 oct makes a big difference but so does a stroker and ported head. What turbo was on the car then a TS 35R? You can PM if you dont want to clutter your thread anymore. Thanks for the compliments! I have to give credit to my DSM for being a geinea pig over the years.

we may rent a dynojet for a day, and take a bunch of cbrd cars...

i was always dissapointed i didnt get to put our 2.3 on a DJ when we were at 499whp on 93 octane, i think it would have been close to 600 on pump.

anyway, back to the bbk, yeah... some 450+whp pump pulls would be great.

Its not like putting on the dynojet will make me buy the turbo regardless im goin to get it when my tax returns come back i just like to see some high pump gas numbers! if it does 440 or more on pump i think it will def beat a green. i dont think i seen a green do that on pump!

Mmmm yum nice numbers! That's about where my car should end up once properly tuned - similar mods.

Unfortunately my BBK Lite is just fine but my tune is currently garbage...knocking all over the place and boost spikes etc.

Wish Kreionic/CBRD did international house calls...you guys always seem to get sweeetly shaped power curves (and good numbers).
