Cams would be the best first investment for the money - might want to do o2 housing and lower intercooler pipe when you do cams. this combo with your set up will give you the best bang for buck mods...

my friend has an EVO8 with a rebuilt 2.0L engine, it has cams and cam gears, 3" exhaust etc... car is blk , 2003 model with Extrememotorsports stickers, bought it like this, all we did is a retune, and a BBK lite used turbo+headers from a used part shop, 27psi boost, and the car is faster than an EVO7 with a GT35R, with a 2.3L stroker and a motec 1/4mile, no matter how we race, stand still, rolling start, even one race the 2.3L stroker guy used Anti Lag system, and yet the EVO8 was faster.

I love the BBK, we might upgrade to a BBK full soon, Chad can we send the BBK lite and have it upgraded to BBK full? would you kindly PM me the cost?

PEACE
NAB

There are plenty of other threads with comparison's of other cars with 50 trim's and other turbo's so you can see how much power that really is on the stock turbo on his dyno, its about 420tq/400hp on a dynojet. This was done on 93 octane gas.

I have been working with Chad on getting a FPGreen and what his opinions were of Green cars and what kind of power they are making on his dyno. He said to hold off and wait until he contacts me for a "special" turbo he was creating....

Sooooooo....I did and let me tell you it was worth the wait!

I just got the turbo put on the car and started to tune it. It is a EVO9 upgrade so I sent him my EVO9 turbo and in exchange he sent me back his "CBRD BBK" turbo. Chad told me that this turbo spools exactly if not sooner than stock (because of my 2.3) and it will hold boost till redline.

Man was he right on the money! It spools no different than the stocker did on my car, exactly as it did before, and it holds boost till redline perfectly just like it should. I was running 25lbs of boost on the street on 93 octane gas and hitting load values around 330, I didn't touch the tune on the car and my load values jumped to 348, I then turned up the wick a little to 27psi cause this turbo would hold it all the way till redline and my load values jumped to 365! This I could not believe, the car is making more power on the same tune and pulling hard until redline!

Tonight I was out tuning the car and got all the quirks worked out and got it spool up quicker with some tricks on my tune. The car is a monster, it spins all four tires entirely through 2nd gear! Before I could get it to break loose in 2nd but only for a second, now it was spinning all the way till around 6k!

All I have to say is thanks Chad and great work!
