kreionic isnt the tuner at CBRD, I am

he isnt in our area anymore, he moved down south, but we let charlie tune on our dyno since he was a good trusted friend/tuner.

Hello, I have been following the thread on the BBK turbo that you have and i am very interested and was wondering what kind of power gains you think i would be able to acheive with the BBK turbo. I am running on the stock turbo right now. I havent been able to get my car tuned yet since i have rebuilt the motor but here is the mod list below. The EMS isnt installed yet but will be before i upgrade the turbo. Thank you

Oops my bad

On the up I'd say he's still very much a trustworthy friend/tuner since I got a PM from him offering to help out in my inbox on the same day you posted so I just added two and two {thumbup**

Will let you know how we get on, happy to share my maps etc. with you too if you like.

Are you saying you had the full and the lite on the same car? Can you (or he) talk about the difference in spool between the two on that car? From some of the other posts it sounds like the full is spooling as fast as the stock. If that is the case, what are the advantages of the Lite other than price?

As far as spool mt BBK Lite is hitting peak torque at 4000-4300 rpms dead-on in DLL (obviously spooling all the way up to my 1.9 bar setting), exactly the same as with my old turbo, which was a 15.5G JDM RS Mag turbo.

So yeah I'd say that the spool on this thing is for real.

I picked up a Lite awhile back, finally got the car running last night and drove it for the first time today. I bought the car already modded with a stock IX turbo, HKS 280s, full 3", tubular o2, Walbro 255, ACT clutch, HKS upper IC pipe and inlet pipe, and some other odds and ends. It also had a blown engine so I have no basis of comparison. While I was rebuilding it I added the BBK Lite & BR Deluxe FMIC w/lower ICP. I haven't installed the new 950 injectors yet, still running on the tune that came with the car. Running wastegate pressure for now just to work out the bugs.

First impression - WOW! Boost is INSTANT. I can't imagine anyone ever needing faster spool than this thing. I'll be installing the wideband and 950s within a couple weeks and then re-tuning it, I'll be sure to post an update.
