CBRD secret sauce turbo upgrade!
I have 680's that will be going in with a BBK turbo in less than 2 weeks on my evo 8. We will see if the 680's are doing at 26-27psi boost
I always thought 1000cc injectors were best suited to guys who run meth, race fuel or very big turbos.
I can totally understand the headroom logic, but if a car like the HKS CT230 uses 760cc injectors with a stroked engine and a 3076 then I don't see why a car running pump gas and a stock frame turbo would need to go bigger than that.
Ideally I want to use the smallest injectors I need, perhaps with a fuel pressure regulator (already have the defi fuel pressure gauge) - want to avoid unecessary stuff like a fuel rail etc. if I don't need it.
To each their own though

we run 780's in almost everything... they are the simplest to dial in, always work well... and are available...
i ran 850's when i made 499whp on pump on my dyno (injectors that are now in charlies car)....

I can certainly understand a tuner preferring to stick with what they are familiar with. FWIW, in winter weather I was in the 90% duty cycle range with a white rabbit VIII turbo (for the newbies, the WR was a billet wheel FP turbo sold in 2005) on pump gas with 660s.

How much boost, EVO8LTW? I don´t want to drag this anymore OT, so I won´t post again on this injector issue.....Sorry!
