62 pages and I need cliff notes... lol

Specs? Dyno charts? any direct dyno comparisons to a Green? 1/4 mile runs?

Thanks, I'm in the market for a new turbo and this maybe a good option...

ok guys...

did a BBK car today... not one of our personal cars.. a clients car...

the car is used for roadracing, so we want a broad powerband and quick spool up, looks like we hit the nose on this one....

Mods are as follows: EVO IX

ETS 3" fmic, Weapon R intercooler piping (getting changed soon)
HKS Intake, swain coated manifold and o2 housing
S1 Cams, BR Head
Ported tbody and manifold
turboback catless
780 injectors and fuel pump

the only thing changed is the BBK... everything else was identical

it was a little cooler today, so that may have helped a couple whp... but the gains are significant enough to show regardless...

here are the graphs...

this shows the two curves.. (dashed is stock ix turbo, solid is BBK)

AFR on the right, power on the left..

here is boost on the right, power on the left...

and here is another chart, alone, just to show multiple pulls.... nice and smooth, the goal for this car..

so.. the gains are excellent..

I was going to run them at the same boost levels but didnt have time... as we got on the dyno kind of late... i suspect the numbers would be apprx 395whp/350wtq.

here are some details....we are seeing 21psi below 3500 rpm.. in 3rd on a 5 speed... pretty impressive... you also notice the turbo shows gains everywhere... its an efficient compressor wheel so at lesser boost levels its moving a good amount of air, and up top its not making the heat a stock comp would...

i think with some s2 cams, a larger fmic, and some new piping... this car would be another 425whp BBK car... not bad...

later tonight im going to post a video of how the turbos are made, i think you all will enjoy it...

ill post numbers later this week, as we have two more BBK cars on the schedule... and charlies (kreonic's) full bbk upgrade tune (currently he just has the compressor and has made 428whp).

Was that turbo a BBK lite or the full BBK? That awesome it didn't lose any spool.

Hey wait a minute if you guys modified the turbo in 3 minutes why can we get it back earlier, instead of the 3 or 5-7 day turnaround.......jk awesome video, this turbo is tit$ +1.

Impressive results. Very informative video too, but I missed the part in the video where the new billet compressor wheel is hit with a couple of coats of "BBK" blue spray paint . Looking forward to more testing.

Man I'm sold...so the lite flows 47lbs, I am sure I missed it but what does the full version flow? I assume 50+lbs possibly.
