Red flows 60 something lbs and BBK flows high 40lbs low 50lbs range.well thats what i read in one of the post.i guess bbk compares more to green then the red.

It's competitively priced against or cheaper than anything else that produces the same power

Dick, it's less expensive than the other stock framed turbo in its intended performance range. It's priced appropriately.

we would have to reset our goals for a larger version.. this turbo was built for specific reasons... never meant to be a big turbo,..

I am probably not alone in saying I would love to see a Red competitor come out of your shop

The BBK is "proven" as well. The dynos are there for both turbos, the prices are there for both turbos, and the decision is yours to make from there.
You are complaining about it's price and then comparing it to a turbo that costs a few hundred more, and makes a bit more power. That seems proportional, fair, and square. What are you trying to accomplish with your posts?

But seriously, the BBK has already flexed its muscles on a few cars (not mine ) and considering its aim I think it is exactly where it belongs.

Just trying to get feedback.i want to be in the 400whp range.I dont want to have to add meth, turn boost way up(past 30) or do anything crazy to get there.i dont want to squeeze the crap out of the turbo to get there.my gripe about price is that everyone feels they can do work to a small frame turbo and ask FP prices. My dad owns an industrial machine shop and i showed him the video and its no too much work from his point of view once you get wheels and program done.his machines are too big to do small pieces like turbos.

this is proven

im not here to go back and forth about the red our turbo, others, etc...

that is a great turbo... as is ours.... ours is readily available... and delivers as shown... the spool is amazing... and power is excellent...

we have enough parts to build 75 brand new units, and do another 50 cores or so....

doing another car today, another friday.. and another next week...

this turbo fits our goals exactly for what we set out in the beginning... we have talked about a larger compressor... but id rather set another list of goals for it, before we just model and produce another comp wheel to go in this thing... this is the turbo i wanted...

cheers

the full version is going on now (we took the compressor, and put the new turbine and shaft in and machined the housings today with BT)..

Chad-

I'm sold... I'll get an order into you in the spring time. It's too bloody cold here to deal with a turbo swap. lol
