should i be looking into picking up a IX turbo ... i am on a budget but would like more reliable horsepower....

well given that fp couldn't beat the fp green, i can't see how this thing would.
the only place it could beat it is the price.
could be wrong though, hope to find out soon

 

It technically already has with transient response/spool and showed same numbers with just an upgraded compressor wheel/stock turbine but that's not public knowledge

 

Wow, that makes things real interesting. Too bad I already have a Green. This will probably be great for those looking for Green performance at a cheaper price.

 

The Green is great, don't get me wrong. This is just the natural evolution, no pun intended, of things. Something comes out, it's great, and then something will inevitably surpass it. I don't think this is just for the budget minded as it's being built as a kind of next step. It's nice to know that the stock looking turbo upgrade niche will now have some legitimate options. After all the years of having to wait, things are finally coming to fruition. It's really great for the whole community

Now just wait to see what's around the corner for the X in this market

I think 98% of us would be 99% happy with a green. The reason we don't own one is the price.

The X doesn't have the silly backwards turbo lol bolt on stock mani turbo upgrades will be a dime a dozen before too long
