CBRD secret sauce turbo upgrade!
What am I missing here? I'm trying to piece together the bits and pieces of info in this thread.
The OP starts this thread by bragging up a new CBRD secret sauce turbo upgrade. How the new turbo leaps tall spool-up with a single bound, is faster than a speeding EVOgreen and will cost less than kryptonite.
And then Chad says that rather than produce this wiz-bang of all turbos, they will actually produce something else. Am I reading this right? Why remix the secret sauce if the enchiladas already taste terrific? What am I missing here?
I'm NOT a nay sayer. I'm looking forward to dyno data, just like everyone else. Just trying to make sense of this.

Well, to be fair this is not an official CBRD announcement. This thread was made by someone who is happy with and sharing his opinion of an upgrade that isn't even the final product. It looks like people are getting impatient and bent out of shape when there's really no call for it. CBRD is under no obligation to answer any question in this thread. I'm sure an official announcement with appropriate information and data is coming. I bet it will answer many questions I'm sure many people have and silence a few others who are transparently biased.
Chad also doesn't like to talk about product until it's proven on his dyno or on his own cars. He's not going to sell you a special turbo with no data to back it up or happy customers that have already tried it.
for Chad

The "co-developer" of the turbo: Chad @ CBRD simply stated that this is just the early edition and that it will be better...stronger...faster. Pretty Simple...What's not done is just that: Not Done. PROTO-TIPO
Get it? Got It? Good!
I'm not sure what you are missing. The OP made a thread about the prototype turbo that he has. He is relating his experience of said turbo. Which seems to be what we would call praise.

So, the final production version of this turbo will still leap tall spool-up with a single bound, be faster than a speeding EVOgreen, will cost less than kryptonite, AND will do it all better than the prototype reviewed in this thread.
Got it. Good! Thanks!
Glad the OP is happy with the prototype, however, he's experience merely
subjective...which realy does not count until you have objective data which
could be done intrarater or interrater validity.
Nonetheless, bunch of hyper people.
until then just wait for official announcement from CBRD.

dont worry guys,
as soon as we have the final version data... we will post it.
we are very selective about products we bring to the market, if it doesnt perform, it wont be sold.... and so far, its performing... we just have more coming.
cheers

and again thanks for your assistance last time we met.
This thread is pretty pointless imo as there are no graphs or nothing to prove it is better than the fp green. My fp green hits 29psi and holds 26.1psi it only spools slightly less than stock and my car is an animal. I will be curious to see some comparisons.
We are still testing... Chad doesn't and didn't want a whole bunch of talk about the turbo until it was complete. I'm just glad that we have a choice coming.
