I don't really care about the color but I wouldn't mind seeing a dyno!

I am very excited about this turbo. Keep us posted. I am tired of green comparison posts. Why cant we have differnt types of turbo options without the constant comparison?

You just can't believe everything that you see and hear, can you?

Call me ricer but I'm loving that black housing w/blue compressor (even though you don't see the compressor). On a serious note guys he doesn't need testing, he already has 6 different prototypes out there. Be patient and good thing will come .

Sure you should believe it, Chad is a reputable guy, but that's not the point.

I'm probably gonna get yelled at by the mods for this, but I am just going to come out and say it because everyone else is thinking it.

YOU'RE AN IDIOT

It doesn't fooking matter if the turbo can hold a million psi to redline if it's a million psi of HEAT. Heat doesn't make power, that's why we have intercoolers, nitrous, meth, and water injection. All of those are designed to remove heat from the air feeding the engine.

Heat is why compressor maps are so important. As turbo efficiency goes down, heat goes up. I can make a stock turbo hold 29 psi to redline with the right boost controller, but it will probably destroy the turbo or the engine or both.

If this was an official release thread from cbrd then yes, it shouldn't have been brought up. However, it was brought up by someone who has one of the prototype units and stated this is nothing officials....so really anything goes lol

i think its good for people to know we are working on something, was it premmature? maybe.. but hey, that is no big deal...

we are working on a few things that will probably get out before they are ready for production, just like our radiators did...

sorry if its an inconvienence, we are just trying to do whats right, and thoroughly test our products.

cheers

happy 4th weekend

Speculation leads to excitment! Excitment leads to more people buying products from good vendors. People buying products from good vendors leads to these guys being here and sticking around and providing us quality parts. Premature or not chad we are happy to speculate! Its the unofficial evom pass time lmao
