Cam differences and Performance
Cam differences and Performance
Whats the difference Between the GSC S2, BC 280, and the HKS 280
I'm really confused also Performance wise for the money what cam is worth it's weight.
I know juns are good and GSC are good to but why are the BC and HKS so much cheaper.

LOL damn mark why you wanna bust on my cams? LMAO If you read the current issue of Turbo, Martin at AMS is doing a three issue shootout between cams. Some of the cams do make more power but at different areas of the power band. The HKS's are not bad cams but they don't have as high of a lift as some of the others because of this you can run the stock valve train. ( I am running HKS, check sig.) You get good idle and low end but not the high end power that you would get from say the Jun cam's. Here is an example for you: Markymark is running the GSC S1 and a 9.8 hotside turbo in an 03 or 04 Evo and made 318 awhp on the mustang dyno at DTM. I am running HKS 264I/272E with a 10.5 hotside and made 308 awhp on the exact same dyno on the same day. Although not exactly the same a lot of our other mods are similar. Hope this helps.
