Thanks for the link. Those are the type of pressure sensors I was referring to. The spark plug mounted sensors look like they would work great.

Yeah those have been around for awhile actually..I remember doing a research project about pressure triggered ignition in F1 cars and these came up and that was probably 5 years ago or so. That and realtime knock feedback not the current "time travel" knock that we use and love. I would much rather see whats happening in the cylinder than look .430ms after it already happened.

So, when are we going to wire these up to the stock ECU and have tephra, mrfred, or someone patch them in?

So does there exist a spark plug for the evo that reads pressure?

If so what are the sensors specs on its output? What would you need to read it?
