Full Wiggen's clamp'd intake tract and more custom fab

So I have been tinkering with my Evo since the day i got it in 03'. I have seen dozens if not hundreds of people buy evos install big turbos on thier street cars, get bored and sell thier cars a year or so later.

This car is primarily a hard core commuter car that needs to lug me, whatever stuff I have and my 1 yr old daughter around 365 days a yr. in the NorthEast.
In addition, it is also a hobby and play toy.

So, mod path is centered on reliability, ease of fixing it and usable, legal, quiet, consistant power.

Most "mods" are trading one charactistic for another usually with a price to pay somewhere, but as different as the engine bay may look, it is still basically a "stock" set up but with all the parts slightly massaged past what could do in a production car enviornment.

As I'm sure some of you will quickly point out basically a fancy way of saying lots of mods and no huge power but for me it's more about giving my machine some love.

I consider myself fortunate to live minutes away from Dent Sport Garage in Noorwood MA. and I have to especially thank Bill W. for kick the a$$ TIG work, brackets and completly fabricated aluminum compressor outlet.

I will get it on the DSG DynoDynamics dyno soon to button up the tune but I don't expect much more than 290AWP/315AWP (from the lat session minus IC and fab work).

Anyway thanks again to Alex, Nick and bill at DSG and I hope you guys enjoy the complete engineering overkill

TME 16g, 10.5t ported Swain tech coated
HKS 264 i,e
HKS 2.70 DP
OEM cat, mid pipe and muffler (minus a baffle inside)
custom fabrcated IC tract HKS IC.
Tuned on a DD dyno at DSG By Matt K. in ECUflash ~300AWP 315AWT @3400RPM

... I bought "a" weld ferrule a month for almost a year, occasionaly splurging on a clamp until I had the full set . This wasn't a whim, and I'm no baller.

I hung the front bumper on Dzus fastensers with a modified Beatrush undertray riveted to the bumper for "easy access"

Looks like about $183 each for 2.5" clamps...

Bill, there's an anodizer in Norwood about 3 miles away. You could black ano all the tubing sometime when you can be without the car for a few days. That would fit the theme well and protect the pipes from corrosion in the winter.
