performed at 22 and 30 psi. If you look at the hp numbers of the 35r in the cam test at 30 psi, they line up pretty close to the comparison dyno sheet in this thread in the first post.

How come only the HP curves were posted? It would be nice to have the TQ curves on both the graphs posted.

if you look at fp website, you can see that the hta spools like 300-400 rpm sooner than the gt35, and makes about 50bhp more.

If we apply this to the gt35 graph posted in the 1st page, we will see that the hta spools 500 rpm sooner than the 850r and makes about the same power...

I think a back to back test of these turbos is a must in order to decide which way to go...

please don't speculate, unless it is tested back to back on the same car it's really a guess. Was the graph on FP's site at the same boost level or was each turbo maxed out? My test was nothing changed but turbo's, same boost level, same gas, same car, ect.

To me, if this turbo spools slightly slower than a standard 35R, then a more fair comparison would be comparing it to the HTA88 instead of the HTA35R which spools faster than a standard 35R. At that point you'd likely have similar spool characteristics but would be able to see which compressor truly trumped the other.
I agree, but I think this new turbo should be tested back to back against both the HTA-35r and HTA - 88

Awsome!!!! If you guys can, I would also very badly like to see it tested against the HTA35R being that the HTA 37R is so new and there isn't that many amazing right ups on its performance as of yet!

This will bolt up to any Current AMS turbo kit. You might need to change your intake pipe and oil return line depending on what turbo you have not but this would be a simple swap
