NEW HTA GREEN tested at Buschur Racing
Hey guys dont mean to sound like a ***** or anything but this test was pointless.
The hta green is supposidly an improvement on the exsisting fp green so surely the test should have been done on a car currently running the fp green and not a evo8 turbo.

Does the test car have any sort of upgraded camshafts? I want to buy a green turbo but do not want to change the cams. I am into road racing. That power that is on the dyno is MORE than enough for me to go and have some fun! People are telling me if I buy the green turbo and not change out the cams that it would be a waste of my money. Is that true? Can the green turbo still be able to breath with the stock cams? I am not planing on running high boost. Thanks Ivan
I'm pretty sure the HTA Green is meant as a new improved green that is meant to replace the old green not as another option of FP turbos available. So basically if you want a green you will get the HTA and it will perform slightly better. To me that doesn't seem like a comparison test is needed since its almost the same turbo just revised
Some of the comments in here **** me off. If you don't like my test, think my test should have been performed differently or want something else tested, PLEASE by all means, buy some parts, rent or buy a dyno and get on with your testing. Then share it with everyone.
I would have liked to test this current turbo against the old green model, however I do not have a single green equipped car at our shop. FP wanted feedback soon, so we tested it on a car we had, which had a stock EVO8 turbo with a 9.8 turbine housing on it. The car is fully built, with nothing changed but the turbo to a 35r it has gone 10.1 at 143 mph.
DO NOT upgrade from your current Greens to this model. We went on to test the turbo on race gas and at higher boost levels I was not satisfied with the results. I have spoken with Robert about this and he is sending another turbo out to us to try.
