Which Intake and IC Pipes do you have? Cold Air Box in the works.

I'm developing a "Universal" fit Cold Air Box and doing my best to make sure it works with as many intakes and IC pipe routings as possible. I have had two different prototype designs on my car and the box is working great with intake and IC piping similar to buschur.

I want to get a feel for what combinations of parts are most prevalent.

So post up what intake you run and what intercooler pipes. And if you'd be interested in a cold airbox.

Here's the thread with details on the Box, so far so good with testing. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=337233

Right now I use the samco inlet tube and stock upper intercooler pipe. I have a IX and if a box can be created to get colder air then stock with a ACD car (already have the ebay/bushur style filter shown) I would buy it.

Stock IC pipe and K&N Typhoon.

Wont all that metal that your cold air box is made of cause more heatsoak?

Keep them coming guys, I know Injen is popular and I think it will work pretty well their stuff.

The airbox will dominate heat soak like Mr T playing World of War Craft!

I use Buschur UICP, filter, and MAF pipe. As do a lot of other people, it should defiantly be compatible with a full buschur setup

As you can see by the photos my setup is very similar to Buschur although I built the stuff myself. I'll need to test fit a local car with Buschur parts to verify, but it should be really close to mine.

Plan on buying an AEM intake soon. Not sure on the uicp but if I were to get one, it'd be ETS's using the stock battery (basically like the factory pipe).
