Its not quite that simple....

HKS's Dot's were faaarrrr from what anyone elses DOT's were ever...let alone anyone could even get. HKS was also on that track before the event, wasn't like they went out cold. Either way much respect to Sierra Sierra

Good point JesseB.

Advan made those tires specifically for that car and application.

this is what i am talking about. 650 is not impressive at all for a 35r turbo.

i know my single scroll makes that amount on very low boost.

on the cars that make 650, what rpm are they reaching full boost?

Is your turbo a 35R, or is it an HTA3586? Are you using an exhaust manifold that must fit a full sized radiator and AC, or are you using something much more efficient?

I had the pleasure of racing a single scroll 35R EVO last night, he claimed he was making over 600whp on pump/meth 30psi - I'm still on my 21psi straight pump gas map, 570whp, at full weight so I figured he would edge me a bit but it would be close...

Reality, it was NOT close at all, we raced from a third gear roll (~65mph) and I had four car lengths on him before he could get his turbo to spool It just got worse for him there after...

I'm loving my TS40R!

35R Making 650whp on low boost? That's pretty intense.. Would be interested to see the setup.

All stock suspension and wheels, for now... tires are RE-01R... The way that Jeff Evans setup the VSS based boost control, the EVO absolutely hooks up on the street... Once I get the new suspension, wheels and tires on we'll give it even more boost in the lower gears and it's going to get silly...
