If you don't mind the heavy pedal pressure, that clutch can handle a good number of torque. I personally opted for the exedy twin disc since i daily drive my car and didn't want a heavy pedal.

What's your power goals? If you're not going to have 500+whp, i'd recommend the MB7-HDSS.

how about tryiin some SS lines?... And the engine damper, like suggested earlier in the thread. If it helps with the stock clutch and shifting, it will do the same with any aftermarket clutch. Try it out before you switch to a diff clutch. A $140 part is a lot easier to experiement with than spending $1k or more... and lots of time...

Also, any vendors seeing this... could you PM me a price for the ACT MB7-HDSS with prolite FW (10.1lbs)??? plz

ACT Issues

ACT Clutches have become a hit or miss for us lately. I have completely stopped using them on Evo's unless the customer insists on it. I used them for years on DSMs and Evos without any lockout issues but lately that hasn't been the trend.

We have put hundreds of ACT clutches in Evo's. Some need adjustment, some don't. It depends on the car. The adjustment, when done properly, make a world of difference. I have one in my DSM and one in my Evo X. Both clutches are great. I no lift shift my Evo X without any problems.
