I think this is a good thread... Its really helpful for the Evo community especially on selecting the right/functional parts for your Evo. The back to back test on some parts is really great. I myself made some bad decision of selecting parts
because of EvoM it help me go to the right way. Thanks for all the Guru's here and vendors that share their knowledge about the Evo.... without EvoM I would be still buying Ebay Parts!

Can't do it on stock block and ebay parts. Everything works together, and if everything is able to operate in a smooth and efficient way, then you can expect better numbers. Tell him to take a look at the parts list of some of the other pump gas cars buschur has done... there is a pattern. Its not easy making that kind of power on pump, and costs $$

Please give me your thoughts about how the customer's selected parts will inpact his ability to make pump gas power.
Al are you serious?

1. Ported heads will make a HUGE difference at big boost. The fact that you need to ask David to tell you this scares me.

2. A ****ty exhaust manifold and small exhaust housing will obviously make much less peak power than a well designed manifold with a larger A/R, the bigger the A/R the more efficient the turbo will be, lower back pressure, happier at higher boost. Again, you know this.....I hope.

It isn't rocket science Al, port his head, put a bigger hotside on it, put some bigger cams in it and your their.

You cannot expect to make the "same" power setup to setup even if only one or two parts are different, tell him to change those things and youll be damn close.

Oh also Al a huge part of this equation is the tuning.

If you send him to Dave there is no doubt he will pick up power, why don't you send him to your Master/Mentor/Daddy to make real power.

Of course I know all of this and more and have explained this all to the customer but what ever I was saying apparently is not registering

This is why I am seeking the input of Master Buschur as perhaps with his input and the inpout of others like yourself the customer will see the light

By way of clarification

The manifold is nolt the ebay full race copy

Rather it is a custom crafted unit which happens to resemble the ebay full race copy

Also the Bad Bish has the HTA gt35

Scorke, come now, he was asking the questions retorically. You didn't realize Al had already made these points to the customer, and the customer isn't listening? That's the whole point of the thread. You answering some of the main issues is exactly what Al is trying to induce so that maybe the "stubborn customer" will take heed.

I think David's hands are full... Why not just talk over the phone?

Al, you told your "customer" what he needs, I just dont belive this guy can go fast without dumping $ out of his pocket to make good power.

All Al's posts are always lies. He exaggerates boost levels. Example my fp99hta post he said that was at 42psi it was more like 50 psi. And when he means pump gas he means with methanol also dont believe anything he says.

PS MY MANIFOLD WAS CUSTOM MADE NOT EBAY.

PS why start a @sshole thread pick up the phone and call Buschur. Im sick of your mouth

You want to compare my set up compare it to SWITZER.

One of the memebers here has a quote in his signature

- Never argue with an idiot, bystanders cant tell the difference

I still cant beleive that people question buschur racing. WHY?
