Royal Purple Synchromax?

I just bought 3 quarts of this stuff for my evo. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? I tried searching, but all i found were threads from 05 and 06 talking about the regular royal purple trans fluid. I dont know if I should return this stuff and just buy redline oil? Please help guys! Thanks

^dito! I actually have been running the royal purple syncromax and it works, but when its cold it takes awhile to work, otherwise its fine, but I will be switching to redline this summer, also in my rear diff too.

I've been using RP for over 4yrs in three different Evos. All tracked with no problems whats so ever. Even used it in my AYC equipped Evos with no problem. Learn how to drive

I switched from Royal Purple to Redline MT90 with a splash of Heavyweight and my transmission has never shifted smoother. I was having problems with the infamous 5th gear grind and now it is gone. I would highly advise this as a transmission fluid.

I use the GL5 RP Gear Max... 2 seasons and going strong. When Dan Buschur had my trans apart to replace my sycro's (just cause my engine was out, and why not), he called me and said "what the hell is this purple slime?" "the gears dont even look worn" . Lets just say he was like.... WOW (and in a good way)!

Oh yeah and +1 on the learn to drive

I used RP syncromax in my 1999 BMW M coupe a few years back. It was great for about a week, then the transmission just got notchy and unpleasant to shift.

Stick with redline MT90, amsoil GL4 gear oil, or stock diaqueen for the EVO
