You have got to be kidding me right? This is silly. Both regular and HTA turbos have custom turbine and compressor wheels made by forced performance.

Doubtful. Mostly I doubt it because of how many of these HTA versions are out there. One casting for a compressor wheel is extremely expensive, and finding one that works well enough to actually cast out.......well look at how long inbetween the white rabbit and the evo green.

There's just about every HTA option out there right now, so if it is a garrett and borg warner hybrid......it would make sense.

I never regretted having mine...She made me 452 whp and 442 ft lbs on VP MS 109 fuel & 380 whp and 335 ft lbs on 91 oct....If I wasnt so power hungry I would still be rocking it! I actually still have it as paper weight

id say wait for the hta fp green. look for Ryan on here. i think his screen name is something like BlueByYou EvoVIII. He is currently doing a 37R @ Forged in Marietta. Before that he had a green. Before the green he had an evo9 turbo. So he can give you a pretty good idea what to expect plus he is local.
here is a link to one of his current threads so maybe you can send him a PM. he explained to me that his pump peak hp did change BUT the GREEN made the power much earlier and way more torque.

BTW, im looking at ur sig and i see the 357whp? It seems like with those current mods you wouldve been higher. Not hating, just curious because i have 3 friends all with evo9's that made more on TopSpeeds dyno with less mods.

I think it's a pretty conservative tune, but the car is very smooth & runs great. I'm still on the fence about meth. I guess I'll continue to give it thought & make that decision when I can afford to do more mods.

I would skip the meth and do E-85 if it is available in your area. Just do it when you upgrade injectors when you put the green on. I think that is my plan in a few months. Our mods are pretty similar now.

My only regret is everytime I've bought a stock turbo upgrade it was improved. I had the 20G-9-6, 20G-9-5, FP green and now a HTA Green comes out?

Great turbo... I'm starting to check out the 35R HTA now with all the pump gas success.

It's pretty stout on pump gas with a good tune. If you do go with meth/alky spend the extra $$$ and go with a good kit with fail safes. I had the SMC kit and the pump failed on me twice. I now run race gas most of the time.

Very Few places here have E85. I wanted to go that route a while back untill I searced for E85 stations.

I'm looking at the Aquamist kits for Meth.
