Anybody regret going Green?

I've been tossing arround the Idea of getting a green later this summer & was wondering if anybody got one & was not happy with it or wishes they had stayed stock turbo. I'm pretty sure I don't want anything bigger than the Green, but I'm not unhappy with the stock turbo & was wondering if I'd wish I'd have kept it. My car has full bolt ons with cams & I may do meth whether Igo Green or not. Is the added lag noticable or is it so close that you can barely tell the diffrence? I have a fear of any added lag, but probrobly wouldn't mind it once I tryed it. Hmmmm what to do?

I have one for the pass 2 years. No regrets. I get 26psi by 4200rpm and 29 by about 4600rmp. Passing people in 5th gear just gives me lots of these . No need to downshift. If you happen to downshift to 4th to pass, just hang on and hope that no one pulls infront of you. Objects infront comes by awfully fast .

I got the green in the box new, but when I got it I started reading about the HTA35R, and how peole started to make crazy power on pump gas with stock block and heads, and I decided to get the HTA35R.

I still have the green here in the box new if your intersted send me a PM, I only opened the box and checked it out and but it back inside the box.

ooh some of my friends that got it and they love it.

If I hadn't just spent a bunch on the latest mods I'd be very interested. As it stands now I'll have to wait a coupple months or so to do more mods.

Your stock IX turbo is nothing to be sneezed at. A lot of guys are getting great power with the IX turbo, especially with meth. Having saidthat, the new HTA Green, which features a recontoured, lightweight compressor wheel should spool just as quickly as your IX turbo.

Yeah, I'd say to wait for the production version of the HTA Green, which is in the final stages of developmental testing.

EDIT: I just saw your modlist. Cool!

Yeah If I decide to get one I'll wait till the HTA #'s are out which should be soon I believe. Either way I'll have to save for a little bit.

We're also in the market for a turbo upgrade...and since it's a DD the HTA green is sounding pretty hard to beat...

I don't have one but I'd say do alky injection first. You have an excellent mod list so far, very well rounded and seem to make good power! What dyno was that 357whp on? Anyways, Aquamist HFS-1 to crank up the wick, then go green after that. Especially living in Georga, alky injection will cool your intake temps and probably make an amazing difference! I have the HFS-1 on my car, check the alky section here for pics of the install. It is a lot less expensive than the green too, so it makes sense to do it first.

Correct me if I am wrong but is the difference between the HTA turbos and the "regular" ones the fact that FP uses a Borg Warner compressor wheel which as sparky said has a bit of a different shape and weight? I am trying to do my hw here before I buy anything.
