Oil cooler before the turbo

hello I was just wondering if installing my inline oil cooler before the turbo would be a smart/safe idea? I would liek to only put good oil through my brand new turbo.

What do you mean you dont have a stock cooler? did it get smashed, break, what happend? I would keep the line clear from the motor to the turbo.

I have a 3g eclipse, not an evo, but we share many parts. Our platform does not come with a factory oil cooler.

I dont think it will matter before the turbo, but after the turbo yes because that whats going back into your engine. Turbos will heat up your engine oil if you have a turbo that is only oil cooled.
