I took my car into AMS in West Chicago on Sunday evening on the Grand Opening Day. Power mods before car went in is

AMS FMIC
AMS LICP
Hallman RX MBC
Walbro Fuel Pump
Forge Blow off Valve
DC Sports Catless Downpipe
Greddy Ti-C (Resonator Removed) Catback.

I have other mods like shifter bushings and motor mounts and little stuff that wont make any power difference.

I dropped it off intending on to get installed with...

Cosworth M2 272 Cams
Supertech Dual Valve Springs/Ti-Retainers
Megan Racing 02 Housing
ARP Headstuds

Before the Mods i had dynoed.....

if thats your dyno compare, at 55 mph, it looks like oupicked up ~45whp?

as far as getting more top end power, get rid of that mbc & go with a gm 3port + ecu boost control.

I called Cosworth and they said both of the cams should be engraved, and one of them was plain and said nothin, no marks or anything.

 

Yea that is weird????

 

I would kill everyone in the shop if I only picked up 1whp with that much money dumped...

If you dyno'd in the winter and now dyno'd in the summer it would affect the numbers. There are a lot of factors man.

Also.......peak numbers aren't everything. Maybe your powerband is a lot broader now.

 

btw I just want to make sure........the car has no cat in it right?

 

maybe they pulled the stock cams out and accidentally put them back in????

 

Only way to tell is by the hole in the cams...

No cats, no resonators!

 

It was 72 Degrees with no fan in front of the intercooler at all the first time we dynoed at 329 HP.

Today it was like 60 Degress in Chicago and they used 2 Fans in front of the car!

 

The Cosworth cams i ordered came in 2 different boxes, on of the cams had no engraving or part number or blue streak or anything !
