SBR 2.5L Put to the test! Slowboy Rally engine takes to the streets!
Cheers
Chris.
The 63 and 64 use ther same rods. The crank and bore are the only differences. Marco was probably the first to start using "long rods" in a '64. Basically, you use the '63 "stroker pistons", which have a raised pin height to compensate for the added stroke, in a 64 block, which helps give you an extra 6mm to add to rod length. The 2.5 will already use pistons with a slightly raised pin height to accomodate the added stroke from the 102mm crank, and raising it a few more mm would require custom rods.

Also the 64 has a 6mm taller deck height, but very good explanation.

Drum-roll Please!
I would like to hope so, but I feel you may be a bit high on your estimates. Remember, this is a pump gas/meth injection car. I think 30psi might be a stretch.

Wow, that's great low end power for such a big turbo. Isn't that wheel over 75 lb/ min? It's making power down low like a 35 on a 2.0.
