plz help! shifting problem

ok so here is the story, for the last two weeks i've been running my car at the dragstrip and every time i try to shift to 4th i cant get it to go in. driving around town at low rpms it's fine. it only does it at high rpms. i have an upgraded clutch but that has been in for close to a year now.i really dont know where to start, i tried adjusting my clutch with no results. i would apreciate any input you can give me.

no, its not grinding it just doesnt go in.
the weird part is that after i couldnt get it in i let it coast to slow down a little till it went in but then my rpms shot up and it felt like i was in 2nd but i know i had it in 4th.
