I went to the Sport Compact Shootout and I only got a reservation at BestWestern because of a cancellation.

 

afew of us have been sleeping at the track the past couple of years we still goto the hotels and hang out then head over to the track around 10 catch the end of that nights racing and sleep for free, its a good time

 

you can pitch a tent and sleep for free??

 

I would encourage anyone who owns a DSM/EVO or even just likes fast cars to attend. It's 9 hours for us one way. But it's a fun time. The guys at Buschur's are world class acts.

I may run my car for first time this year as well...that is after Dan and David work some more magic on it!

 

Yea at the shootout i saw a few tents up.

 

yeah its always a good time they lock you in the gates and come around in the morning and collect your money for the event, theres nobody really there so you can drive around do whatever its all paved usually a group of about 8 of us stay there the night before every shootout

I may come from pa. Hopefully il have my cams installed and i may drive down and run. Most likely just have my friend drive cuz of gas. Anyone going from buckscounty area or pa?

 

Just to put this out there about the race.....

WE HAVE A RAIN DATE IN CASE WE NEED IT. IF IT WERE TO RAIN OUT ON THE 17TH WE WILL BE RACING ON MONDAY THE 18TH. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW!
