VW, STOP!!! Don't throw your stuff in the garbage yet. Take those plastic clips out of the metal pieces that were under the carpet and re-install them in the carpet you left in the car. I'm not kidding.

I would think the carbon cover for the spare tire well would still need some support under it unless it had ribbing in it, am I right Indy?

If you don't put the clips back in you will be able to see the white floor through the carpet, and that looks like crap.

Will it hold my golf clubs up? Because we all know I have to get to the golf course in 10 seconds or less.

 

How about something that covers the whole trunk floor....so it takes the place of the trunk carpet...that would look pretty bad ***.

 

My TV stand will hold at least 250 lbs and I would use the same construction. The whole floor would be cool but pretty expensive.

 

I have done this before but only on the drivers side, i was scared to do it on the pass side because of the oil cooler, has anyone had problems with that?

Congrats on the awesome pump gas runs, and race gas runs!! AWESOME MPH get a set of BFG radials on there and you will run 9's no problem.. i cut consistant 1.5xx 60ft times with mine on the stock wheels..
