im going to be running 400hp

question is what clutch will suite me the best. it is my daily driver. I don't mind the clutch being stiff pushing harder doesn't really bother me but, i dont want the clutch to feel like im going to grind a gear or not lock into place when im downshifting if you know what i mean? with that been said i was thinking od the exedy twin... if i have to pay money for something that isnt going to give me problem in the long run im all about that. thanks.

If you can afford it, go Exedy Twin.

If you can't, go ACT HDSS with street disk. Make sure you adjust the clutch pedal.

I would add a SS clutch line at the same time.

torque is what you base a clutch decision off of

you need to tell us more about your planned set up to give you a truly accurate answer

haha ok well then allow me to rephrase.... has anyone had first hand experience with this clutch "exedy twin"...if so, will i have to make adjustments to my clutch. and did you ever feel any thing less in performance compared to your stock clutch, meaning having a hard time finding a gear, notchiness while downshifter or shifting in general, or any problems at all. thanks.

My cousin had a 2.3 gt35r powered Evo equipped with the twin. I had absolutely NO problems whatsoever shifting gears. Very light pedal effort.

Probably hundreds if not thousands of Evos who have used it, so there are TONS of threads/posts with info regarding it, and it is the most recommended one there is.

I use it personally, and I think you have it backwards asking if it has anything LESS in performance compared to stock. The only thing the stocker has is a light pedal.

I have very mixed thoughts about a twin. They are very noise and expenisve. If its a daily driver I would go act. I had a tilton twin in my integra "suppose to be the best clutch money could buy at the time", I never launched and only got 5k miles out of of before the splines of the disk went out. Cost $500 to repair just in parts.
