i was going to install my hks 272's tomorrow morning ive been told that there isnt a need to upgrade anything in the head due to them being one of the more mild 272's i was just wondering what you guys thought i should possible do. Just throw the 272's in or upgrade my springs? I have 264/264 in it right now that ive been running on for about 5k miles or so

 

I would say upgrade the springs at least just to be on the safe side.

 

You don't need to upgrade anything with 272's....well not HKS anyway they are not aggresive at all. I ran 280 HKS's for two years with no upgrades at all except ARP head studs.....its fine.
Im sure if your tune is safe you have no worries.
