I am running 30.5psi on a Heavily Ported IX Turbo on E85 now..

I am using a Greddy Type S slightly modified, Re-Circulating..

I am using this set-up because I like it the best. (I have tried a Stock VIII, Stock IX, Forge, HKS, and a few others) It is the closest I have found to stock like driveability.

I had to replace the diaphragm once because I blew it out, but I think it was because it was defective when I got it. It blew out when I was running 25psi, since I have replaced it, I am running 30.5 psi spikes now tapering to 22.5psi and it is holding up great.

You may want to check it. I had mine running the same set up like your until I get on the dyno. The stocker leak major boost at anything over 23psi (on mine). We crushed the top, it get up to 25 psi and that it. My boost still get up to 30 psi, but the turbo have to work extra hard to get there.

Mellon and several others do. If you want great driveability and high boost, it is the way to go.

I am also using the IX bov @ 30psi on an IX turbo w/ alky. It doesn't leak at 25-26psi, haven't checked beyond that yet. Driveability is so good compared to my old POS forge and Greddy type RS I don't care (yet)

A good friend is using an "APS" on his evolution 8. pump/meth and 30psi is no problem. Drivability is perfect and holds boost great, not much taper at all surprisingly on an evo 8 turbo by the way.

EVO 8 MR w/ evo 9 bov
28psi does drop a little not sure how much(probably is leaking some)
recirculated
occasional part throttle buck but nothing major(actually very minor)
I like it but am also thinking of upgrading to a different one, anyone tried the synapse valve? I did a search a while back and it sounded good but curious if there is anyone else out there has tried it yet.
