10.5 hotside

are they single puck wastegate flaps or twin puck flaps?

everyone i see online is different. the hotside i just got is twin puck

why did u get a hotside if you have a evo IX???

10.5's came in both dual flapper and single flapper. the early ones were dual, the later ones are all single puck.

cause i need a new one because i broke a bolt off in my other one and cant get it out so i just got another one

how can you tell if its a 10.5?

10.5 are stamped so on the side of the casting on the turbine inlet flange.

what is stamped on it? mine is stamped. it has the mistu. symbol then a long number im guessing is a part number, then on the other side of it, its stamped with another long number with some letters in it

The 10.5 will only be stamped on the compressor housing not the actual hotside. Since you have a IX Turbo it will have the 10.5 stamped on it. There is a very noticeable size difference between the 9.8 and 10.5.

Yes as stated the earlier Hotsides were dual flappers then went to the singles

If you compare the one I sent you to the original they should have the same part number.

okay i compared it

it is the 10.5
my buddy had me worried since he told me all 10.5's were single flapper....
thats the only reason i asked

and again thanks a lot lexat20, you really helped me out. my car will be back to normal next friday

I broke a bolt off in my a week ago.. drilled out as much as i could, then took the torch to it.. and the rest burned out.. retapped it and it was good to go..

i would of did that, but i dont have a lot of free time because of my job.
so i just bought another one and im having CBRD put it on, along with some other stuff and then im getting tuned

ill fix the other one when its off the car
