Before anyone can give you a solid input we need to know a few things.

1. whats done to the car.

2. how much you want to spend

3. what you use the car for

then everyone and there mother on here will give you input.

Or you can skip all this and go to AMS or BR site and look at there stage 1-4 guide each stage has a part list and the expected gains from the mods.

The green will not make 500hp.

For 500, you will need either a 30 or 35R. with an HTA 35r, you will get faster spool-up than a normal 35R so that its not so laggy, and you will have limitless capabilities as far as power from a street car. A 30r will run out of room eventuall, a green will most likely be done at about 450-475 on race gas.

With enough money and willingness, the HTA 35R is capable of over 500hp at the wheels on Pump Gas. I think that most to all of these though have been done by Buschur Racing. I dont think anyone else has done it yet, or at least not consistently.

Before you can walk you must learn to crawl. Before you can run you must learn to walk. You get the picture, 500whp and a big turbo in the wrong hands is like a ticking time bomb.

as long as you dont want to blow your motor, to get to 500hp the one thing you are going to NEED more then anything, is a lot of cash. Its easy to see all these 500+whp cars all over the boards, but dont forget these guys are probably dropping 10K and up as a starting point.

New clutch (1500 for exedy and 5-800 for install)
built bottom end (BR qoutes something like 5500 total for removal, tear down, parts, rebuild and install, plus this aint a drop it off monday get your car back tuesday install)
built top end (probably around 2000 w/install, maybe more)
upgraded intake mani/throttle body (anywhere from 400 for ported stockers to 2000 for just the mani, and 500 for the TB)
injectors (give or take 350-450)
fuel pump, possibly double (another 4-500 if going double)
AEM EMS (2000 tuned give or take)
and probably at least a grand in various other parts and fluids and such. Not to mention upgraded brakes to STOP a car this fast, upgraded suspension to actually make use of the power, increased safety if you're tracking, probably a tranny rebuild sooner then later (another 1000 easy, if not 3x's that much) ditto for T-case (again, several grand)

It looks easy, but to do it right, do it once, and do it SAFE, you're looking more like 15-20K in parts and install.

ok so

do you daily drive the car?

whats your price range?

also upkeep on a high horsepower car is a B^tch.. and stuff breaks... alot lol.. take it from me..

If you want a quick car thats great all around n will cause you little problems do these upgrades:

FP Red
Port Intake Manifold / Port Stock Manifold
Buschur Front Mount + Lower intercooler pipe
880cc Injectors (Not Required)
Intake
Full Turbo Back
EMP o2 Dump
Manual Boost Controller
Walbro 255lph fuel pump..
custom tune
and of course a boost guage

that is probably the cheapest way to yield you APX 400~ WHP ish daily

let us know what exactly you are trying to do with the car and we can better help you
