Well I'm about 80% sure I'm gonna go with the SBR 2.4 block and their Stage V head unless someone has a valid reason to not use it.

SBR are using cp pistons and billet crankshaft like mine and from what I heard u will get 100cc more and monster tourqe the only cars I heard who have 2.4 are rally cars cp pistons are amazing ross pistons oil pins are bad they take oil on top of the pistons many ppl who have stroker with ross pistons either have it cracked or on the way unless u get a fully ceramic coated 1, well now u can break ur gf neck legally when she dosent listen lol using the pedal

add the eagle crank in the 2.4l for even more reassurance and a little more money

We can use a variety of pistons, I personally like Ross (that is what I have in my own car) and with a 2.4 it wont technically be a "stroker piston" as its the same pin height as the 2.0L. However I do agree that the CP pistons are very nice, that is what we are running the the 2.5L.

The stock crank will actually hold up quite well, we can put whatever you like in it, but in the spirit of helping you save a few hundred bucks I dont think the eagle crank is 100% needed.

We are running the BC 2.5L kit in our street EVO IX. This is the same engine that we tortured in X-Games last year and a couple other rallys. We have been driving it on the street with a couple different turbos for a couple months now with no complaints.
