i wouldn't be able to tell you y they pop out but they tend to pop out during launches.....ams sells a conversion for the triple disk carbon...not to sure if it is also for the twin disk and it is around 4,000

It is caused from fast/hard shifts and launches. A simple solution is to use 3 rings behind the clip if you can locate them. But I just installed a Tilton Twin Carbon and all I can say is wow. I will never go back to a pull type clutch. Look into either the AMS kit or buy a push type like the Tilton.

I will try to find a pic. The install calls for one ring, using 3 seems to help the pressure on the clip. We tried it and it worked great, no more issues. The ring looks like a large thin washer, but is wavy all around instead of flat. Hard to explain, but I'll try to find a pic.

You are making a wise choice.....lightning quick shifts and dont have to worry about the death ring popping off. The uqarter master twin is a damn good clutch
