It can be over fillled if you fill it from the drain hole, Since that would be the best way to fill it anyways..

Fill it from bottom with one quart.. obviously make sure the fill plug is in... Drive around the block..Level car and remove fill plug.. All the excess fluid will come out and level will be perfect.

Simple. Use a hose about the same size as the threads in the fill hole, pump in too much oil and yank the hose and insert the plug.

The least experienced guy in the shop is going to be the guy on the lube rack.
