RRE Rally Cat Rattle
My car had been rattling away for a couple of weeks, due to an exhaust specific problem. It seemed to be coming from the RRE Rally cat, so I took it off and found that the resonator material was loose. It is able to move back and forth lengthwise, causing an unbelievably annoying rattle. What I was wondering is how I would be able to fix it. Would I be able to just weld the resonator in place? Would the JB Industrial Weld be able to keep it in place? Or am I stuck buying a new one, or resonated test pipe.
Thanks
Travis

Is it the heat shield or the perforated wall inside the test pipe?
If its the heat shield around the test pipe then the only best option would probably be to weld it on. I dont think JB weld will be a good idea since the exhaust system does get pretty hot.

This has been a known problem with certain batch of RRE Rally Cats.
The perforated resonator pipe inside comes loose over time and emits a rattle.
Just contact the vendor or RRE for a replacement.
