Rear Wiper motor burnt out

Drivin home today from gettin my windows tinted (sweet *** tint)....anyways I am drivin and I start smellin some nasty smell. So I pull over and check under the engine...nothing, under the car, nothing so I am like it is prob. just the chemicals from tintin. So I drive home, pop the trunk and reach in and get my bag and all of sudden....OUUUCH the wiper motor burnt my cheek and sure enough that was the source of the smell.

Now the wiper isnt near where it is supposed to be and I literally have to pull it up onto the rear windshield to open the trunk.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Current problems that I am going to the dealer for?

1) Recall on wiring
2) Rear windshield wiper
3) Vibration of drive shaft (hittin my test pipe that has about 2 inches of clearance)
4) Tranny vibration
5) The material on my seats is starting to peel away from the backing

Does anyone this that I will have any problems with a Buscher Filter kit, UR 3" TB with test pipe.

And of course the Works ECU reflash, but they wont know about that.

Sounds as though your tinting people have either removed the wiper motor and not re- installed correctly or they have allowed water to get into the motor when applying the tint...IMO

What limey said is where my thoughts go... just like a warranty i would go right back to them and tell them they need to get it fixed for you... dont let them feed you BS... there have been no reported problems with this on the evo that i am aware of
