Good brand for windshield wipers?

Hey everyone.

So this will probably be the dumbest thread ever, but I bought my X back in March and the left wiper always seemed to be really streaky...so I went out and bought new wiper blades, but the problem is still there. Is there a good brand to get, or could this be a problem with the actual wiper mechanism? Every time I spray the windshield wiper fluid, or clear off some rain my wiper just smears the water or fluid and makes it kinda blurry...

Anyone have an issue like this before?

Thanks

Bosch Icons were good for the first few months, after that they seemed to streak alot more than the stockers (which worked pretty good for over a year).

I'll probably be trying out the Rain-X next.

Anyone have luck with any of the PIAA blades??

I plan on trying PIAA. I have rain x latitude on the wifes car. Too soon to tell but many complaints that the latitudes dont last.

Not a dumb thread at all. Wipers are often overlooked.

Some people just buy the cheapest and replace often. Others buy the best and hope they last.

I like the idea of PIAA silicon blades with constant layer of silicon that beads the water.

I hate the RainX blades on my car. I just put the Bosch Icons on the wifes and they are great, way better than the RainX.

I put on the PIAA wipers a month ago and have gone through a few rainstorms and they work very well. No streaking as I got with the stock.

Wipers

I have the the factory ones, and they are terrible in our winter up in Toronto. Anyone use specific ones for winter that tend not to freeze up?

I just replaced my OEM wipers with BOSCH ECO blades, havent really had much chance to test it in the rain yet, execpt only for once, and of course u expect from a new wiper blades,it does really make driving much easier in the heavy rain.

I use fairly inexpensive blades on my winter car, from the drug store of all places, called Ice Blades or something very similar. Nothing fancy, but they're killer in freezing temps.
