Silblades ...Silicon wiper blade.

Lasted about 4 years on my Honda until the metal became rusty but the blade was still good.

The Bosch Icons have been on the family's Nismo Frontier for over three years and they still are in better condition than the RainX Latitudes on our accord that we put on last winter. I'll get Icon's for the Evo when the OEM's need to be replaced..

PIAAs are awesome. I used to have these on my VIII but they were pricey. I have the RainX latitides and they aren't that bad, they get the job done.....

Dumb question, but is there a proper way to clean the Bosch Icons?

With just soap and water, it seems like I could clean them for hours, and crap would still come off.. almost like the rubber material was supposed to shed itself intentionally, or something.

Get yourself some simple green solution from autozone or walmart or wherever. Spray it on the vipers and wipe it off with a thick towel. You can use paper towel but it will need to be folded to be thick and it still will leave paper residue. I just use the towels that dont leave residue.

Good thinking.. I've been using Simple Green for my wheels and tires, but just never thought to use it for the blades.

Thanks!

Use car wax on the windshield inside and out. Club members and I have been doing it for years. Forget the expensive wiper blades. Try it...it really works!

I have just installed RainX Lattitudes on my wife's G35, Rainx Weatherbeaters on my Eclipse and Trico Teflons on my Evo.

So far so good, the Lattiudes seem to be the best, the Trico's were annoying to install. The Bosch Evolutions I took off my Evo I had on there for waaay too long, but I seem to remember not being very impressed with them - I believe the ICON line replaced them.
