Cams with big lift like the Tomei's are intended for ported heads. A stock head will never be able to take advantage of the greater lift, but the low end power tradeoff will definitely be there.

Bigger is not always better.

There is no Top end on a "Stock" Turbo.

 

My suggestion is if you don't have a GT40 or larger in a car that is for strictly drag, don't use the Tomei 280's. They are probably the best top end cam but the low/mid range sucks.

SCAMMER! I can't believe I got scammed. I sent money to assembeldbygod for his FMIC almost a month ago. Still no word. Said he was on vacation and shipped it out when he got back on the 20th. Stated he was busy and forgot to write down the tracking number. So no tracking #. He won't even tell me which carrier company he used.
