not sure what to tell you but dont listen to one persons experience on a certain clutch. one person says their exedy twin only lasted 8k but mine has been on my car for 20k with hundreds of launches and i made 400hp on a mustang dyno and still launches like a champ today.
i had an act before and will never go back ill stay with the exedy for good

Buy a POS commuter car. Daily driving any car with stick will be miserable regardless of which clutch you put in. None the less, I have an XTSS with street disc and street flywheel. I don't think it's too heavy.

I have owned both clutches and the XTSS was allot more of a street natured clutch compared to my Exedy twin. The organic clutch surface of the XTSS is allot more forgiving in traffic. Both are very grabby at break- in but after 1k to 2k miles they become tamer.
If I was to city commute everyday I would pick the XTSS with the "organic street disc" always.
If you are planning on going to a higher torque output tune (over ~ 400 ft/lbs on a MD) then your options start shifting to a twin or puck style clutch in order to handle the torque. The street disc might hang for awhile but will not take much of an exhuberant driving style. (As in launching)
