If you have a good tune, I think 9.5:1 will be good.
For pricing contact Scoot from TTP, he will take car of you.
The complete job was only 3 days!! That is the advantage of this drop in piston thing, isn’t it??

I would like to try a high c/r drop in build. Going to research some more first though.

RanEvo, nice job.

Did you use a stretch gauge or just torque specs when putting in the rods?

Congrats on the new setup. That piston/rod combo looks nice
I just did a very similar procedure and the car is running great!
Looking forward to the new numbers that bad boy will produce

anyway, I believe you understand now that I haven't removed the crack, so main bearings are not my concern. as for clearance issues, as the TTP JE pistons are custom to stock size, and my assumption (after compression and leak test before head removal) is that we have healthy engine to start with, the concerned will be only the honing issue, so that's why slight honing was carried to break the glazing only.

I will not argued as to my tuning, but this picture of the valves on the head will say more than I have to explain about the lambda in my tune before the drop in job
yours looks different than mine. all my valves are black as if it was rich, but my dome if u will is clean and yours is all black.

any experts here can explain to me whats the verdic for these heads?

Ran's head looks like it had a fuel additive...and some carbon. The second head looks like it has been cleaned prior to the pic being taken and you use straight gasoline.

even though I completely rejected the idea, and still do..for the same reasons Nick mentioned and my own..but, I admit it looks good Ran.
